Capcom’s upcoming title is also carrying a lot of expectations on the commercial front, with the publisher expecting a strong start from Resident Evil Requiem. As it turns out, still days away from its release, the game has already risen to the top spot on Steam’s best-seller chart.

Capcom did predict stronger sales for Resident Evil Requiem compared to its predecessor, and the game is certainly delivering. With a stunning Nintendo Switch 2 port also set to launch day-and-date with other editions, it won’t be surprising if the horror title breaks franchise sales records.
