Yesterday, NVIDIA teased their upcoming GeForce RTX 40 series on Twitter. They sneaked in the release date by encoding it in ASCII. Twitter users quickly figured it out, and the date turned out to be September 20. NVIDIA plans to unveil its latest graphics cards during GTC 2022.

Surprisingly, today on Chiphell forums, a user posted screenshots showing a GPU reaching a 3.0 GHz clock. The screenshots were later deleted but were quick to download them.

As you can see from the below screenshots, the graphics card scored 20192 points in 3DMark Time Spy Extreme. Remember that the GeForce RTX 4090 graphics card is rumored to score 19000 points.

With such a score, this GeForce RTX 4090 would be around 90% faster than GeForce RTX 3090 and around 78% faster than GeForce RTX 3090 Ti — NVIDIA’s current flagship graphics card.

Lucky for us, the temperature data and the shared GPU clock were also leaked. According to the leaker, the GPU was hovering at around 65°C, and the ambient temperature was 30°C.

The below-leaked pictures show the graphics card was reaching a 3015 MHz frequency which is very high for an engineering sample graphics card. Since the leaker says that the GPU is probably designed for 600W to 800W while the default TDP shows only 450, we can say that the graphics card in question is a GeForce RTX 4090 because it is rumored to have such power.

The leaker also claims that the graphic card is huge and it is air-cooled.

“The temperature at the time of silent frequency running is 30 degrees at room temperature.

This card is air-cooled, and the radiator is very large. It is estimated that the middle tower may not be able to fit, and it is impossible to take pictures. It looks like this is designed to look like 600-800w, but the default tdp is very low and only 450w, it is estimated that non-guild will have 800w version

We remind you that Nvidia will officially announce next-Gen GeForce RTX 40 series graphics cards based on Ada Lovelace architecture on the ‘GeForce Beyond’ special broadcast which will take place at GTC on September 20 at 8 am PT (11 am ET, 4 pm UK time).
