As PS5 emulation continues to progress, games like Demon’s Souls have shown the most potential and are expected to be among the first big titles to become fully playable on PC.

However, another major release has now grabbed everyone’s attention. Marvel’s Wolverine has just been booted on PC.

Why it matters: Marvel’s Wolverine was just released worldwide a few weeks ago, so its progress via the emulation scene is extremely interesting and perhaps more exciting than any other title.

Marvel’s Wolverine has been launched on PC for the first time since its leaks from a few years ago.

As expected, the emulator responsible for this breakthrough is KyTyPS5, which used a Ryzen 7 7800X3D and RTX 5090 combo to deliver a whopping 2FPS performance in the game.

While this is nowhere near acceptable, the first step has already intrigued many. If progress on other games is anything to go by, Insomniac Games’ latest title could soon be running at close to 30FPS via the emulator.

On the other hand, a game like Demon’s Souls has made further progress through the implementation of frame generation.

All in all, PS5 emulation is progressing at a steady rate. With Marvel’s Wolverine joining the list of big games being worked upon, the future is certainly looking brighter than ever for those interested in emulating PS5 games on PC.
