Discussing the major first-party titles from Sony released over the last three years, gamers on Reddit narrowed their favorites down to God of War Ragnarok, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Horizon Forbidden West, and Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.
While all of these games are special in their own right, the most upvoted comments put Kratos’ latest adventure ahead of every other PlayStation game, though this was not an easy decision to make, according to them.
At release, God of War Ragnarok received unanimous praise for expanding the formula of 2018’s soft reboot, concluding the story of Kratos in the Norse realm. God of War Ragnarok is also the highest-rated game on Metacritic among all of these titles, highlighting that the critics agree with this conclusion.
While it has been over a year since this beloved PlayStation game was released, Santa Monica appears to be hard at work on a sequel. According to rumors, a DLC or stand-alone game is also in the works, so fans can rest assured that more enjoyable content is on the way.
