Last year, Sandfall Interactive surprised everyone by launching the masterpiece, Clair Obscur Expedition 33. It has since become one of the most successful games ever, but the director has some harsh words for Rockstar.
In a recent video, the Expedition 33 director said that he wasn’t impressed by GTA 6 and isn’t very excited for the title either, and that Rockstar Games titles aren’t just for him, which is undoubtedly a surprising statement.
Why it matters: Rockstar titles are usually universally praised as they capture a huge audience and resonate well with most people, especially the GTA franchise, but, understandably, everyone has their own taste.
Guillaume Broche, in a Konbini YouTube video, talked about his experience with GTA games. He said that he picks them up, puts cheat codes in, and creates chaos for 30 minutes, and then he finds it just too boring for him.
I’m curious to see what they do, but it’s (GTA 6) is not a game I’m excited about. I jump in GTA games, use all the cheat codes and then quit. I don’t get it, it bores me.
Talking about GTA 6, he said that he is certainly looking forward to what the studio will do, especially because of the scale of its budget. However, it isn’t a game that necessarily impresses him or he is excited about.
Now, on one side, it is understandable that Broche has his own preference, but the impact these games have had on the industry is undeniable, and GTA 6 is expected to do the same when it finally launches on November 19 this year.
