- Bethesda gets a lot of its great ideas from Reddit, according to Todd Howard.
- The studio is always listening to player feedback and reading comments.
- Howard said fans should keep telling the studio what changes need to be made.
After years of silence, Bethesda finally gave fans an update on the titles it’s currently working on. The studio revealed that it has three Fallout games in production, including remasters for New Vegas and Fallout 3.
Moreover, Elder Scrolls 6 is coming along nicely, according to Bethesda, with the team loving the RPG’s new look. Todd Howard also stated that the company is primarily focused on the upcoming title, but the source of the studio’s fresh ideas might turn some heads in the gaming community.
Why it matters: Studios opting to pay attention to fan feedback and implementing it is something to be appreciated, no matter the source of said feedback.

While addressing fans on Reddit, Todd Howard revealed that he gets a lot of his great ideas from the Reddit community. The legendary developer stated that he is a lurker who reads comments from fans and deeply appreciates the passion gamers have for Bethesda’s creations.
Howard disclosed that he isn’t the only one who is constantly listening to player feedback, as many at the studio pay attention to what fans say on apps like Reddit. The executive producer said fans should keep telling them how the games can be even better, as he has picked a plethora of great ideas from Reddit already.
Hence, if you want to change something about a Bethesda game, voice it on Reddit, and Todd Howard assures that the idea will probably be implemented if it gets enough upvotes.

Considering how the company is partnering up with Obsidian to make a new Fallout title, there might be some truth to this strategy, as fans have wanted a new game from the New Vegas developer for a long time. One can only hope that Howard and Bethesda stick to this player feedback-based direction and pick the right ideas.
