GTA 6 is going above and beyond as Rockstar Games’ most ambitious title of all time. The game’s open world itself will be massive and offer the typical satirical recreation of real-world locations and content that fans have come to expect. However, GTA 6 may skip certain locations, including massive real-life Florida attractions. Why it matters: GTA 6 is aiming to include as many diverse locations in the open-world as possible. GTA 6 may not include parody versions of massive Florida attractions like Disney World, Universal Studios, or SeaWorld, at least based on what Rockstar has shown and described so far. According to Rockstar Games via IGN, the team had to be selective about the locations it could incorporate into GTA 6. Senior VP of Environment Art Paul MacPherson noted that this was done to ensure locations in the game served the game’s needs. He suggested that even if the aforementioned attractions aren’t in GTA 6, Rockstar Games will do its utmost to present the full Florida experience. We have to constantly evaluate the diversity of landscapes, towns, structures, landmarks, and everything else. We may not have those exact locations. Of course, many feel a theme park parody in GTA 6 would have been a perfect playground for Rockstar’s brand of satire. Some might find the absence of Disney World disappointing, but the game will likely have plenty of other locations and activities to make up for this exclusion.
