GTA 6’s latest preview has confirmed the existence of hundreds of different species, in addition to dynamic weather effects.

Moreover, the preview has shed light on some of the game’s side activities. In addition to activities fans saw during the Netflix Extended Preview, GTA 6 will feature the likes of scuba diving and air boating.

Why it matters: The side content in any open-world game is extremely important, and GTA 6 has many fans excited for this specific reason.

According to Game Informer, GTA 6 includes activities and locations such as scuba diving, zoos, and air boating.

The game will also feature plenty of other activities for players to experiment and kill time with. These activities are mentioned below:

• Base jumping
• Billiards
• Gyms
• Kayaking
• Mini golf
• Scuba diving
• Street and off-road racing
• Zoos
• Air boating
• Jet skiing

All of these sound extremely interesting. Rockstar Games has always used side content to make its open worlds feel lived-in, but GTA 6 seems to be pushing that idea further. Scuba diving alone suggests more underwater exploration will be included this time around.

Air boating is also a very fitting addition. Swamps and coastal areas have already been a major part of GTA 6’s visual identity, so giving players more ways to move through those spaces would be a natural step.

Note that this likely isn’t all that GTA 6 will offer in terms of side activities. Others like backyard wrestling were previously shown in the Netflix footage, so fans should expect more activities in the final game.
