- Rebel Wolves is already starting work on The Blood of Dawnwalker 2, the narrative director confirmed.
- The studio is now hiring for a lead writer position to craft the story for the next game.
- The studio is planning to create a whole saga for the IP that spans multiple eras.
The Blood of Dawnwalker has been an incredible success for Rebel Wolves. The Witcher 3-inspired RPG has sold like hotcakes despite garnering some criticism for performance and gameplay similarities to CDPR’s behemoth.
Therefore, Rebel Wolves is already exploring the idea of a new game in the franchise. The studio’s narrative director has officially confirmed that the developers are starting work on The Blood of Dawnwalker 2 in the near future.
Why it matters: The Blood of Dawnwalker has been a staggering success for Rebel Wolves, so the studio is quite confident about moving ahead with its plans for a saga spanning multiple projects in the future. However, the second entry might be years away for now.

Rebel Wolves’ narrative director Jakub Szamalek confirmed the tidbit in a new LinkedIn post, clarifying that Rebel Wolves is hiring to create the ‘next chapter’ in the Dawnwalker saga. The studio is seeking a new lead writer to pen the campaign’s story for the next game.
And so! Drum roll please! I’m looking for a Lead Writer to help me and the narrative team craft the next chapter in the Dawnwalker saga.
-Narrative DIrector, Jakub Szamalek.
The job listing for the lead writer role does not reveal anything explicit about the next game, but it reaffirms that Blood of Dawnwalker is meant to be a planned saga with multiple entries.
Rebel Wolves previously confirmed that each game is expected to explore different eras and continents, and the choices players make in the first game will have direct consequences in the second one.
We can expect The Blood of Dawnwalker 2 to spend at least a few years in the brewer before we hear anything significant about the project.
