Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls’ PC release was nothing short of a disaster. Between netcode-related problems, performance struggles, and anti-cheat compatibility issues, players faced all sorts of challenges with this version of the Marvel-based fighter.
The launch was so bad that fans outright dismissed the PC port. Addressing the situation, the game’s producer has come forward to apologize to the fans.
Why it matters: A bad PC launch can haunt a game for months, so Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls faces an uphill battle ahead for itself.

Speaking to VGC, the team behind the Marvel fighting game admitted that regaining player trust after the troubled PC release will be “extremely challenging.”
Producer Takeshi Yamanaka appreciated the fans for supporting the game thus far and enjoying everything that it has to offer. However, he also regrets the fact that the PC version launched in a subpar state.
As per the producer, the team has already shipped two updates on the platform for major improvements. However, more patches are coming soon, as Arc System Works continues to improve the experience.
We realise that the issues on the PC version have created a lot of trouble for the players, and we truly apologize for that. We hope players will stick with us.
The good news is that many seem to be enjoying the core Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls experience that Arc System Works has offered. Therefore, all hope is not lost just yet for the PC version.
