  • Although this has attracted considerable criticism, people have found a way to circumvent it.
  • Gamers are now using the Death Stranding 2 photo mode to bypass the age verification.

Death Stranding 2 was recently released, and it is one of the most critically acclaimed games of 2025. The critics and fans have given positive impressions, and even after completing it, the majority didn’t stop playing; that is a sign of a good game.

The game looks so real that some places its features are difficult to distinguish from real life, but that is now. Kojima Productions took Decima Engine to the next level, as the character models are so real that people are using them to bypass UK age verification.

Why it matters: Death Stranding 2 has garnered a lot of praise due to the in-game appearance of its characters. The characters in this game are as close to as it can get to real life.

For those not in the know, recently, new age verification laws have been introduced in the UK, which have attracted considerable controversy. While this is introduced to protect children from harmful content, it has been perceived as a hindrance by many to verify the age.

That said, some gamers have found a way around it and are actually using Death Stranding 2’s photo mode to bypass it and conceal their identity, of course.

Many gaming sites, as well as other websites, have been affected in the UK due to this new law. Therefore, anyone who wants to access those sites would have to confirm their identity; however, thanks to the effort from Kojima Productions, people are using the game’s photo mode to verify their age.

This indicates that the game likely features the best character models in gaming history, and they appear incredibly realistic.
