The memory crisis is showing signs of slowing down, with prices still peaking way above their MSRPs, and shortages still continuing. This has also led to a delayed launch of next-gen hardware, and Nvidia might completely skip next year. 

There were rumors that Nvidia RTX 60 Series GPUs could arrive as early as next year, but a new report suggests that we shouldn’t expect them before 2028. So, next year we might not see a single GPU release from the company. 

Why it matters: While Rubin’s launch next year was always questionable, Nvidia is rumored to have silently canceled the RTX 50 Super series as well, amid the continued AI-led memory crisis. 

I hope Jensen can see everyone's passion and launch new products for gaming as soon as possible.
Unfortunately, GR20x is a product from 2028. That means they have postponed again. 🙃🙃🙃

According to reliable leaker Kopite7, the RTX 60 Series GPUs have now slipped to 2028. The report suggests that there were plans to launch them earlier, but keeping the current circumstances in mind, they have been delayed. 

With AMD also not expected to launch any GPU next year, 2027 is looking quite a barren year for GPU launches after so many years. But it’s for the better, considering the already ridiculously high RTX 50 prices. 

Nonetheless, if you are currently on the latest generation of GPUs, they will be the latest release for quite some time. However, there is still no official confirmation, so it’s better to take this with a grain of salt.
