- Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 received a lot of positive reception from the fandom and critics on launch.
- The game launched to massive players and reached many impressive milestones quickly.
- Now, it has sold over three million copies in just a span of three months.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, one of the most hyped releases of this year, received nothing but praise from the fandom and critics. It is a solid Game of the Year contender, so it won’t be surprising if it manages to win.
It has been three months since the game was released, and it seems like the hype is still not over. KCD2 has reached yet another amazing milestone; it has now sold over three million copies worldwide.
Why it matters: It took one year for Kingdom Come: Deliverance to cross the two million sales mark, so it is good to see its sequel performing extremely well.
Just recently, Warhorse Studios revealed on X that KCD2 has sold 3 million copies in just three months, and its predecessor has sold over 10 million copies up to date. Both numbers are great and are bound to increase even more.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has attracted many new gamers as well, who seem to like the game so much that they decided to play the prequel. You actually don’t have to play the prequel in order to understand KCD2’s story, and the game gives you flashbacks to help you understand the complicated encounters.
Still, the players decided to give its prequel a try. While KCD2 has sold three million copies insanely fast, it may take it a while to reach 10 million sales, as its predecessor reached this milestone in around seven years.
