Update:-
Following reports on the Xbox Series S|X and PC storage requirements, it was expected that the PS5 would take up similar space as Xbox Series X because both are higher-end consoles.
A reliable source has now reported that the game will take up 147GB size on PlayStation 5. The preload will be made available 2 days before the game’s release for both PlayStation and Xbox consoles.

Original Story:-
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is the long-anticipated sequel to Respawn Entertainment’s Star Wars franchise, and fans are nearly two weeks away from getting their hands on the game. The game will be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles, and it looks like Xbox Series X users may need a lot of storage to play the game.
With the game being just nine days away from its release, the preload for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor can now be pre-loaded on Xbox for some console owners. As reported by Xboxera, the game will take a gigantic 140GB of storage space for Xbox Series X users.
On the other hand, Xbox Series S fans will not have to worry too much as the game will require only 44GB of storage on the budget console.
The massive size difference between both consoles is primarily due to graphical compatibilities. Xbox Series X is a higher-end console, and options like high-resolution textures require more storage space.
While Xbox Series S fans can play on 1440p resolution, typical resolutions for the console lie around 1080p. In the case of the Xbox Series X, the console can provide a 4K gaming experience, leading to bigger game file sizes.
Previously, it was revealed that the game would also require 150GB on the PC platform. While the PS5 storage size has not been revealed yet, the game will support 4K resolution on the PS5 console, so fans can expect a similar size as the Xbox Series X and PC version.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is coming out on the 28th of April, and now Xbox users know how much storage they have to clean before the release of the game to play it. How excited are you about the latest Star Wars game? Do you have enough storage? Please share with us in the comments.
