Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is one of the most highly anticipated games. The game has been getting hyped since the announcement made by Insomniac Games at the PlayStation Showcase in September 2021.
There was no information about Spider-Man 2, but Wolverine was slated for launch in Miscorost’s CMA Document. Also, Steve Blum might be returning to the game. There have been many speculations regarding Spider-Man that the game will be released in September 2023.
Previously Tonny Todd, the voice actor of Venom, hinted towards the release of the game in September, but there was no confirmation from Insomniac Games. Now, trusted insider, Jason Schreier, said Spider-Man 2 in September could be a factor.

This is no longer just a mere speculation or a rumor, as the September release window is likely to happen. Marvel’s Spider-Man was also released on September 2018, and part 2 was announced in September 2021. So keeping this and the rumors in mind, it is highly possible that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 could be released in September 2023.
There is another reason for Spider-Man 2 being released in September. You might be aware that this year’s most significant release, Starfield, a highly anticipated game that will surely bring massive success to Xbox, will be released on September 6, 2023. So Sony might be up for competition as both the games are highly anticipated and have a huge fanbase.
There is little to no information from Insomniac games about Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, but with all this information, we believe the game will be released in September. Still, nothing is set in stone, so players should keep their expectations in check and take this information with a grain of salt.
There is a vast possibility of the game releasing in September, but we can never be too sure as there is no concrete evidence. Also, the game could be delayed due to some unexpected issues, so it’s better to wait for the official news from Insomniac Games.
