Just a few months back, it was difficult to find an affordable and good graphics card, but after the launch of next-Gen graphics cards from both AMD and Nvidia coupled with mining cryptocurrency is no longer profitable. Now Nvidia Geforce RTX 30-Series received a massive price cut at Best Buy, and we can finally have graphics cards below MSRP.
The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Founders Edition has decreased in price from $699.99 to $420. The fact that the GeForce RTX 3080 is less expensive than the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti has sparked a lot of curiosity. While a lower model, GeForce RTX 4070 Ti, still carries a price tag of $599.99 because it has not yet received a price reduction.
Although recent rumors suggested that the GeForce RTX 4080 price would be reduced, NVIDIA has first decided to change the pricing of nearly the whole GeForce RTX 30 series. The pricing of the remaining models has decreased, except for the two cards, GeForce RTX 3070 Ti and GeForce RTX 3060 Ti.
Interestingly, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070, a GPU, has dropped in price from $499.99 to $299.99. On the other hand, higher-end models start at $719.99 for the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti (vs. $899.99), while the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti is priced at $879 (vs. $1,099.99).
With this data we have hand, it is clear that the good ones to buy are only the GeForce RTX 3070 ($299), the GeForce RTX 3080 ($419), and the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti ($879.99).
Do you think Nvidia will also reduce the price of the GeForce RTX 40-series once the GeForce RTX 30-series stock is depleted? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.
