After a long chain of rumors and waiting, Microsoft has officially confirmed the next Xbox and Bethesda showcase, ‘Developer_Direct.’ The showcase will go live on 25th January 2023 at 12 PM PT on Xbox’s official YouTube and Twitch channels.
According to the official press release, Developer Direct will cover the games coming to Xbox Game Pass, Game Pass PC, and Xbox in the next few months.
Providing fans with an inside look at some of the games coming to Xbox, PC, and Game Pass over the next few months.
Other than that, the showcase will feature the extended gameplay for Forza Motorsport, Redfall, Minecraft Legends, and The Elder Scrolls Online.
Studios, including Arkane Austin, Mojang Studios, Turn 10 Studios, and ZeniMax Online Studios, will be a part of the show. However, Starfield will not be a part of Developer Direct as a standalone showcase for the game is in the works; that will be a dedicated Starfield show to give the game the stage and platform it deserves considering that it is the most anticipated upcoming Xbox game and Bethesda’s first original game in 25 years.
To dedicate the proper amount of time for a deep dive into Bethesda Game Studios’ Starfield, a standalone show is in the works.
Furthermore, Vice President of Xbox Games Marketing at Microsoft, Aaron Greenberg, has also assured the fans that this year will be significant for Xbox fans.
It’s going to be a big year for us, it starts on January 25th as we take you inside our studios to see some of the games coming to Xbox/PC/Game Pass over next few months. Also to dedicate the proper amount of time for a deep dive into Starfield, a standalone show is in the works! https://t.co/zwTnmvzdlU

We hope this showcase will make up for the silence of Xbox in 2022 and Xbox fans will have a more packed and good year of gaming in 2023. It will be interesting to see what Microsoft has in store for Xbox fans.
