Different From The Already Announced Project Sirius!

Story Highlight
  • A new report reveals that an unannounced free-to-play co-op Witcher is in development.
  • The game will be set in 1230, and you’ll be able to customize your very own character.
  • You will take on contracts to kill monsters, learn skills, signs, and brew potions.

CDPR is currently hard at work expanding its IPs and working on new projects. It also has a heavy focus on The Witcher franchise, working on the sequel, and a new DLC for the last game, and a remake of the original released in 2007.

A new report has emerged revealing that the studio is also currently working on an unannounced multiplayer Witcher game, slated to release on PC and mobile. While it shares similarities, it is allegedly different from Project Sirius

Why it matters: This makes it 5 Witcher projects that the company is developing right now, showcasing its commitment to the legendary franchise, and fans will be thrilled with all the content coming their way.

The Witcher 3
The new Witcher game will be an F2P spin-off set in the year 1230

Mp1st has learned about an unannounced free-to-play co-op RPG set in the Witcher world, currently in development. CDPR also announced another spin-off, Sirius, but that will likely be different and might not be F2P and mobile-compatible.

Anyhow, more details about the project have also emerged, including the setting. It will probably be on the same scale as Horizon Steel Frontiers. It is set in the year 1230, when Gerlat was a fairly young Witcher.

The Witcher 4
It will be different from the announced Project Sirius

However, you might not be playing as the White Wolf, as you’ll be a customizable Witcher, who will take on contracts to kill monsters. There will be a skill system, and you will need to learn signs and brewing potions.

It isn’t clear as to which particular studio is developing it or when it will be released as of yet. Nevertheless, now is a great time to be a Witcher fan, with all the wonderful content coming our way in the years ahead.
