Story Highlight
  • Take-Two reveals that it plans to release at least 29 announced games by the fiscal year ending March 2029.
  • The figure includes multiple new franchises, sports, mobile releases, and 15 new games in existing IPs.
  • The existing roadmap is subject to change, and Take-Two has yet to announce most of these titles.

Take-Two is the most influential conglomerate in the gaming industry today, with behemoths like Rockstar under its belt. It expects to earn $8 billion in revenue in the next fiscal year, driven by GTA 6’s predicted sky-high sales.

However, the company has not put all its eggs in a single basket. The new financial report also reveals that Take-Two is preparing its strongest lineup yet across multiple genres and platforms. It plans to launch at least 29 games by the end of March 2029.

The lineup is expected to see the launch of blockbusters like BioShock 4, Judas, and more.

Why it matters: Take-Two appears to have a clear and ambitious gaming portfolio set for the next few years, poised to expand its presence in the industry to new heights. The conglomerate already boasts a great track record within multiple genres and platforms.

As mentioned in the report, Take-Two is prepping to release three new core IPs, including Judas, Project ETHOS, and an unknown franchise that is expected to be equally big as the first two.

Judas is an upcoming narrative FPS by Ghost Story Games, while Project ETHOS is a free-to-play roguelike hero shooter. A multitude of upcoming sequels, remakes, and platform extensions are also included in the list.

Eight new sports titles, including the 2027 iterations of NBA, PGA, and WWE, are in the works. Lastly, three new mobile games are also being developed, with only CSR 3 being announced at the time of writing.

Take-Two adds that the list is subject to change, as some of the mentioned entries might not launch by the end of FY29. It also plans to add even more games to the lineup in the future.

GTA 6

On a side note, Take-Two has also teased a new L.A Noire game in the past, but such a project will likely not make it before FY29.
