More STALKER 2 Footage!

Over a decade after its initial announcement, Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl is finally gearing up to launch in 2023. With nearly 14 years between the last game in the franchise, fans worldwide have been excited about the latest offering from Stalker.

While a definite release date has not been provided yet, fans can now look forward to their next look at Stalker 2. The game has been announced to be featured at GDC 2023 on March 23.

The description states that Nvidia’s presentation is mainly focused on AI technology. It says:

“We will present an exclusive look at Stalker 2, present today’s workflow challenges in the facial animation and localization process.”

In January, a new batch of screenshots showcased the visual fidelity featured in the upcoming title. Recent gameplay videos from Stalker 2 have also shown much promise, hinting at an exciting future for the franchise.

The Stalker franchise has faced several development hurdles over the years. Since the initial announcement in 2010, Stalker 2 has been canceled, rebooted, and delayed. The latest delay pushed the game into 2023, despite the 2022 release window.

However, the developers have worked hard to ensure that the game can live up to the quality of the Stalker franchise. The upcoming look will likely show the game at its best to capture the gaming industry’s attention.

Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl is currently confirmed for release on Xbox Series S|X and PC. The title will also join Xbox Game Pass on release day.
