- After first announcing it over 2 years ago, Sega has now teased Alien Isolation 2.
- The project has finally been teased over 10 years after the original survival horror title.
- There is no info on the title except that it’ll be developed by Creative Assembly.
The original Alien Isolation game very decent reception, with many praising it for its atmospheric horror and stealth gameplay. A couple of years ago, it was revealed that a sequel had been greenlit. After that, there was total silence.
This made many believe that it might have been canceled. However, today, out of nowhere, Sega has dropped a teaser trailer for Alien Isolation 2 titled ‘False Sense of Security’ over 10 years after the original title came out.
Why it matters: Horror games have been on a roll and have delivered back-to-back hits in recent years. From the Silent Hill 2 Remake to Resident Evil Requiem and more, the genre is now thriving after missing out a few years.
The teaser doesn’t explicitly mention Alien Isolation 2, but based on the fact that it has been posted on the game’s official YouTube channel, it is more than clear that it is indeed a teaser to the 2014 survival horror game.
We sadly know little to nothing about the game at this point. Creative Assembly will, however, be again at the helm of the project. Despite this, there have been reports that most of the original developers are now gone.

Currently, it is difficult to predict when it will finally be released based on how much time it took the studio to just drop a teaser. Nonetheless, there are chances that we might see it at some upcoming showcase like the State of Play.
