When it was announced that there would be another Red Dead Redemption game, the fans went crazy because, after so many years, they were finally getting another installment in the series. The fans expected a banger when looking back at how well the first game did.

On October 26, 2022, Red Dead Redemption 2 was eventually launched on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and it far exceeded everyone’s expectations and received excellent reviews.

It’s incredible to imagine that a masterpiece like Red Dead Redemption 2, still competitive with many high-end games launched in 2022, was released four years ago today. Time sure does fly!

Looking at the game, it was evident that the creators put a lot of love into its creation, and as a result, Red Dead Redemption 2 achieved the incredible feat of being the 9th best-selling game of all time, which is a huge accomplishment.

Despite being four years old, Red Dead Redemption 2 is still regarded as one of the most admired games in history. It continues to garner praise and was verified for the Steam Deck some while ago.

We should thank Rockstar for this fantastic work of art they have granted us, as Red Dead Redemption 2 was almost perfect in every way, from the Story, which sent us on an emotional rollercoaster, to the smooth and aesthetically pleasing gameplay.

It’s unclear what Rockstar plans to do with the Red Dead Redemption franchise moving forward. Still, we recently learned that a remake of the original Red Dead Redemption game was in the works but was later apparently scrapped because of the GTA Trilogy DE’s failure.

We are excited about the future of the Red Dead Redemption franchise. What do you think about Red Dead Redemption 2 being released 4 years ago on this date? Did you enjoy the game? Let us know in the comments section.
