The PlayStation 5 has been wildly popular. Sony’s latest console continues to be heavily sought out, but Sony has not been able to meet demand expectations yet. Despite the setbacks, PlayStation 5 has continued to captivate players worldwide.

Not too long ago, a new job listing hinted at Special Edition PlayStation 5 consoles, and it looks like the listing has not disappointed. PlayStation has just announced a brand new Gray Camouflage collection for PlayStation 5 and its accessories.

The video above shows all the accessories and the console faceplates. Because of the PlayStation 5’s design, only the faceplates need to change. Therefore, Sony has given users an easy upgrade option for upcoming console editions.

Furthermore, the DualSense will also be getting the Gray camo. This was a popular color scheme for Sony’s DualShock 4, so fans should not be too surprised to see the famous variant return. Sony will likely look back at more DualShock 4 variants for future DualSense colors and special editions.

The Pulse 3D Wireless Headset has not been left behind either. PlayStation has not been known for bringing too many variations to its headphone line-up, but this could change with the PlayStation 5 generation.

While the designs look impressive, PlayStation still struggles to find its footing in this generation. The console has recently seen a price uplift, and the public reaction has been far from positive. Japan is PlayStation’s most famous market, but Japanese fans have also expressed their disappointment over this recent move.

At the very least, PlayStation 5 owners can look forward to an exciting new range of products featuring the Gray Camouflage pattern. Sony has been known for its range of limited and unique edition products, and it looks like the PlayStation 5 will be no different.

The console has been out for nearly two years, but customization options have been limited. This new set of accessories could be the beginning of new customization options for the PlayStation 5. PlayStation has picked the perfect time to mix things up with huge titles like God of War Ragnarok scheduled for 2022.
