Ever since the Unreal Engine 5 creator’s program was launched we have been seeing various smaller developers remaking old games using this impressive game engine and they look gorgeous.
We have already seen various games including Bully, Red Dead Revolver, Grand Theft Auto Vice City, and other titles being recreated in the new engine. TeaserPlay, who created the Bully Remake has come out and created a remake of the original God of War and we have just one word for it, Stunning!
The trailer showcases what the game could look like if it was released in the modern day. Although there is no combat or fight in the trailer, we do get to see certain iconic characters and locations.
We get a look at the OG Kratos and his father Zeus. Moreover, there are some other recognizable faces and monsters included in the trailer too as Kratos moves through the world of Olympus. The beautiful reflections and shadows also embody how powerful Unreal Engine 5 is and how gorgeous would God Of War will look if it launches as a remake.
Though God of War 3 did get a remaster for PlayStation 4, we are yet to see a major overhaul in terms of graphics just like the case has been for The Last of Us. The original God of War games are widely considered one of the best PlayStation games.
