Noctua Goes All-Black!

[Press Release] Noctua has officially introduced the NF-A12x25 G2 PWM chromax.black, the black edition of its flagship 120mm cooling fan. Available in both single-fan and dual-fan Sx2-PP packs, the new release combines Noctua’s latest quiet cooling technology with a sleek, all-black design for modern PC builds.

The NF-A12x25 G2 succeeds the highly regarded original NF-A12x25 and has already received widespread praise from hardware reviewers since launching in 2025. The fan features advanced aerodynamic engineering, including a Progressive Bend impeller design, Centrifugal Turbulator hub, winglets, and an ultra-tight 0.5mm tip clearance for improved airflow efficiency and lower noise levels.

Designed for both PC cases and water-cooling radiators, the fan uses Noctua’s etaPERF motor and SupraTorque technology to maintain strong cooling performance even under demanding workloads. The chromax.black version also retains the durable Sterrox liquid-crystal polymer impeller while adding customizable anti-vibration pads for users who want additional styling options.

The Sx2-PP dual-fan package includes two fans with slightly offset speeds to reduce harmonic noise and vibration in multi-fan setups, making it ideal for push-pull radiator configurations and high-airflow PC cases.

The NF-A12x25 G2 PWM chromax.black also features Noctua’s premium SSO2 bearing, a lifespan rating of over 150,000 hours, and a six-year warranty.

The fan is priced at USD 34.90 for the single version, while the Sx2-PP dual pack costs USD 64.90.
