Marvel’s Wolverine has faced its share of criticism, but the game’s lead actor does not appear to be backing away from it. Taking to social media, the actor backed the game and noted that he remains incredibly proud of his work on the title.
Why it matters: The latest Marvel title has divided players in a way nobody expected. Those who worked on the game, however, are still very fond of the result.
As shared on Twitter, Liam McIntyre said he is “proud as hell” of Marvel’s Wolverine despite the negative reactions. The actor noted that working on the project was a blast, urging fans to enjoy the game as much as possible.
Interestingly enough, Liam McIntyre’s portrayal of Logan throughout the game has been considered one of its highlights. Despite the many problems fans have with the title, the actor’s performance is certainly not one of them.
However, many have pointed out that Insomniac hasn’t done the best job translating Liam McIntyre’s likeness to Logan in the game.
Insomniac Games itself has also confirmed that it will address player feedback regarding Marvel’s Wolverine in the future. All in all, it remains to be seen whether Marvel’s Wolverine will end up being a major commercial hit despite all the discussions surrounding this release.
