Rockstar Trolls Fans With Potential GTA 6 Teaser

Well, 2023 Could Be That Year!

While Rockstar has already confirmed GTA 6 officially, fans have heard little about the game. Last year a series of leaks showed early gameplay clips from the upcoming game, and this has led to speculation about an official reveal in 2023.

Much to everyone’s disappointment, Rockstar has remained silent. However, fans have spotted a new teaser on the Rockstar Newswire, and they believe the developer is trolling with a GTA 6 teaser.

Why it matters: GTA 5 was a monumental achievement, and it continues to be popular to this day. The game’s success has marked the longest gap between two GTA games, and this has also led to greater expectations from fans.

As seen above, the developer is teasing a new year with new hopes and promises. The image in the Newswire further states:

“This year will be the year everything finally comes together. Well, 2023 could be that year.”

This could be a subtle hint that Rockstar will finally pull the curtains on GTA 6 in 2023.

Previously, many signs have pointed to a reveal in 2023, with known insiders predicting a similar scenario. Furthermore, Microsoft has also claimed that GTA 6 is anticipated to release in 2024, and a reveal later this year would make a lot of sense in this case.

Rockstar has likely noticed the anticipation for the game. The Grand Theft Auto franchise is among the biggest and oldest in the gaming industry and has accumulated millions of fans worldwide.

This means that dedicated fans are currently busy looking at clues and possible hints toward the next entry. As such, the developer appears to be poking fun at these fans while teasing future possibilities at the same time.

With the years of anticipation and build-up behind GTA 6, the title has the potential to become Rockstar’s most successful release yet. Fans have little reason to doubt the developer when it comes to quality gameplay and stories, and many are hoping Rockstar will deliver another classic Grand Theft Auto title soon.
