Rockstar has opened a position for a Russian localisation tester, but the employee will be hired with a 12-month contract. This suggests GTA 6 could be launched by the end of that tenure.
Since localisation is typically done towards the end of development, Rockstar would not let go of the employee if it needed more time. With the contract ending around March 2025, GTA 6 is expected to arrive around this period.
If everything goes according to plan, the developer could launch it in March or a few months later. The job listing seeks to hire quality assurance personnel, which means teams have been on the translation project for a while.
Furthermore, a reliable leaker recently stated that GTA 6 was moving toward the final stage of development soon. Combining the job listing with this leak certainly hints that the next Grand Theft Auto entry will be in our hands by early 2025.
