God of War is one of the biggest and most loved franchises in the gaming industry. Just the thought of destroying gods as Kratos excites a massive amount of fandom. While the Kratos in the recent games might not have been as ruthless as he was before, he still showed us what he can really do.

Recently, it was revealed that the God of War Greek Saga was reportedly being remastered by Santa Monica Studios and Nixxes Studios. However, a release window wasn’t disclosed, but the leaker has recently commented on that too.

The development is already finished, and the remasters are targeting a 2025 release window

Why it matters: Sony has been releasing many pointless remasters like The Last of Us Part 2 and the upcoming Horizon Zero Dawn. So, fans really appreciated the giant for remastering this old saga.

The leaker has also highlighted that the developer is aiming for a 2025 release, and an announcement could be between December and March. As the development has been completed, it would be fair to think that the remasters are likely to be released next year.

Ignus also clarified that he meant the developers were working on all of the Greek Saga. So, it isn’t just going to be the trilogy but also the PSP games and Ascension

A leaker previously stated that the original trilogy is in the works, and some sources highlighted multiple God of War games in development. So, it seems like the Greek Saga is finally returning, and hopefully, it will also be released on the PC.

With the way Sony is approaching future releases and the remasters, it is highly likely that the God of War Greek Saga will be released on PC as well.
