Elden Ring Could Be Coming To Nintendo Switch 2 This July, Suggests Listing

Expert Verified By

The Listing States The Port's Release Date As July 10, 2026.

Story Highlight
  • Elden Ring is reportedly launching on Nintendo Switch 2 on July 10, according to an online listing.
  • The game was listed on the Canadian site PNP Games for $110 CAD.
  • A port for Switch 2 has been in the works for a while, but did not impress viewers at Gamescom last year.

Nintendo Switch 2 has been supported by a tremendous lineup of AAA titles so far. Resident Evil Requiem, Pragmata, Cyberpunk 2077, and Star Wars Outlaws are just some of the AAA games that run brilliantly on the console.

Of course, certain titles have struggled, but the most demanding AAA games have turned out to be a success on Nintendo Switch 2. Some major names like Starfield are also rumored to be in development for the console, and if a recent listing is true, the 2022 GOTY, Elden Ring, might release on Switch 2 this summer.

Why it matters: FromSoftware could introduce one of the greatest games of all time to an entirely new audience if this port works well on the Nintendo Switch 2.

As spotted by insider Necro Felipe, Elden Ring’s Tarnished Edition was listed for the Nintendo Switch 2 on Canadian website PNP Games. According to the listing, the FromSoftware title is finally set to launch on the console on July 10, 2026, in the form of a Game-Key Card.

Furthermore, Elden Ring will ship for $110 CAD, which translates to roughly $80 USD, a price point that is a bit higher than the average for Switch 2 ports, considering Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth retails for $50 on the platform. However, the elevated cost could be due to the retailer’s third-party status.

Elden Ring has been in the works for Nintendo Switch 2 for at least two years now and was officially announced for the hybrid console in April 2025. However, an early look at the title during Gamescom last year did not leave a positive impression, with several publications saying that the port was very rough.

Elden Ring
Elden Ring failed to impress fans during an early Switch 2 demo last year.

The RPG was suffering from horrible frame-rate drops throughout the Gamescom demo, dropping performance even if the player performed a simple action like moving the camera. However, Elden Ring didn’t fall flat in the visual department, and we can only hope Bandai Namco has improved the game’s performance on Switch 2.
