When it was revealed that the 2013 video game The Last of Us would be remade on the PlayStation 5 and the PC, the hype around the game was crazy.

On September 2, 2022, The Last Of Us Part 1 was eventually released on the PlayStation 5; a release date for the PC has not yet been announced but is expected soon. The Last Of Us Part 1 lived up to the expectations that were kept on it and performed well.

This is demonstrated by a PlayStation blog where they revealed the September 2022 top downloads ranking for the PlayStation Store in North America and Europe, where The Last Of Us Part 1 came in third place behind NBA 2K23 and FIFA 23.

This is excellent, especially for a remake to land in third place among the month’s most-downloaded games. This is well earned because The Last of Us Part 1 looks fantastic and rivals the best games now available. The difference between the original and the remake is massive, even the remaster and the remake.

With the Last Of Us Part 1, the developers did a great job of improving the graphics, character models, dialogue, and other aspects of the game while maintaining its nostalgic feel to the original game. Improvements like these are why the Last Of Us franchise performs so well.

What do you think about the Last of Us Part 1 ranking third on the top downloads list for September 2022 on the PlayStation Store in North America and Europe? Let us know in the comments section.
