During the Computex 2022 Keynote on Monday, AMD CEO Dr. Lisa Su is scheduled to reveal the company’s next-generation Ryzen 7000 CPUs. These new processors based on Zen 4 architecture and TSMC’s 5nm process node will be available in the second half of 2022.

As we previously reported, the Ryzen 7000 series will include at least four different CPUs, with the designations AMD Ryzen 9 7950X, Ryzen 9 7900X, Ryzen 7 7800X, and Ryzen 5 7600X being added by the Chinese media.
Specifications of Upcoming 7000 Series
The Ryzen 9 7950X would have 24 cores and 48 threads, matching the 24 cores (8 p-cores, 16 e-cores) and 32 threads of Raptor Lake. In addition, the new AMD architecture’s increased L3 cache memory and IPC should also be included.
On the other hand, in turbo mode, the Ryzen 9 7950X is expected to achieve 5.4 GHz for a single core, raising its frequency by 10% over the Ryzen 9 5950X. TDP would be between 125 and 170 watts.
Depending on how many cores the Ryzen 9 7950X has, it could have 12 or 16 cores/24 or 32 threads. It would have a single-core turbo mode running at 5.3 GHz, a TDP of 105-170W, and an MSRP of $599.
The Ryzen 7 7800X will have 8 cores, 16 threads, and a single core running at 5.2 GHz in turbo mode. The pricing would be around $499, which is comparable to the current Ryzen 7 5800X3D on the market.
