- Konami has marked an excellent quarter with operating profits increasing by 75%.
- The surge in profits was led by Silent Hill Townfall, MGS: Master Collection, and eFootball.
- The company expects the profits to rise even higher following a revised forecast.
Konami was struggling with its players a few years ago. Financially, it wasn’t doing badly, but culturally it was becoming irrelevant. Then the company shifted direction, releasing titles like Silent Hill 2 Remake and putting itself back on track.
Now, according to its latest financial report, Konami has recorded a whopping 75.1% increase in operating profits during this fiscal period. The surge was largely led by flagship franchises like Silent Hill and Metal Gear Solid.
Why it matters: The company finally seems to have found its groove, especially by focusing on two of its largest franchises, pumping out releases almost every year.

Konami’s financial report highlights major success. The overall revenue went up by 37% year-over-year, but the digital entertainment sector saw the biggest jump, where it marked a huge 75% increase in operating profits.
The major contributors to this increase include Silent Hill Townfall, Metal Gear Solid Remake, MGS: Master Collection, and eFootball. Also, older titles like Silent Hill 2 Remake, Silent f, and MGS Remake continue to sell well.

Owing to the massively successful quarter, Konami has revised its full-year financial forecast ending in March 2027, and now expects the operating profit to go up by 39.3% and sales to grow by 18.1%.
