Naughty Dog has been oddly silent on Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet since the game’s initial announcement, but marketing for the game is expected to pick up the pace later next year.

At the same time, industry legend Troy Baker has shared his excitement for the project.

Why it matters: Naughty Dog previously promised that its upcoming game would be its most ambitious, and the voice actor’s comments appear to suggest that this is indeed the case.

Troy Baker, famous for his role as Joel in Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us, has talked up Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, saying the studio’s new sci-fi project will impress gamers in more than a few ways.

As reported via Twitter, he states that the upcoming Naughty Dog title will “blow minds.” As per Baker, the team is pushing itself to its limits with this game, so Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet will be a demonstration of everything the team is capable of.

The voice actor also discussed Jordan, Naughty Dog’s new lead character. Troy Baker says that Jordan will serve as the spiritual successor to Ellie.

They are testing the bounds of what the studio is capable of. Everything that I’ve seen, it’s going to be incredible.

Anyhow, players should be able to see for themselves why Troy Baker is so excited about Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet at some point next year.
