Promotional Leak Suggests A Full Reveal Of Battlefield 6 Is Around The Corner

Expert Verified By

The Sequel Could Be Officially Announced In A Week Or Two.

Story Highlight
  • Battlefield 6 could be revealed in a week or two, as EA has started ramping up the game’s promotion.
  • The company has started sending creators promotional packages with the game’s title.
  • The FPS is set to release before the end of this fiscal year.

It’s been over seven years since the last mainline entry in the Battlefield franchise launched, and EA has been working incessantly on Battlefield 6 to give fans a payoff for this delay. The American publisher has been constantly hyping up the sequel, saying it wants the title to define the future of FPS games.

Not much has been shown to players as of now, however, besides some playtests and a few gameplay leaks that haven’t been received very well. But if the leaks are true, fans will get their first look at Battlefield 6 sooner rather than later.

Why This Matters: The FPS space has been taken over by Call of Duty recently, so seeing its historical competitor return in a big way is only good for the industry.

Battlefield 6 promotion
The Battlefield 6 promotional package was received by Doom49.

Content Creators have started receiving promotional material from EA to market Battlefield 6, hinting that a full reveal could be coming soon. In a now-deleted post, creator Doom49 revealed a package he received from EA, which contained a briefcase with the game’s title on it.

Furthermore, the briefcase had several straps tied around it that highlighted the main game modes of Battlefield 6. These modes are titled “Conquest,” “Rush,” and “Breakthrough,” confirming already leaked info regarding the first-person shooter.

EA ramping up promotion like this only means that the Battlefield 6 reveal is merely a week or two away. But that is purely speculation, and the only thing this package really confirms is that the next installment in the franchise will be titled “Battlefield 6“.

Battlefield Series
Battlefield 6 is set to be a redefining entry in the franchise.

The upcoming shooting game is certainly carrying a lot of expectations, with EA expecting it to cross 100 million players. The company also spent over $400 million developing the game and has studied everything the players liked in previous entries.

Furthermore, Developers have prioritised fan feedback, listening to the criticism targeted at the gameplay leaks while removing heavy skill-based matchmaking. Hence, Battlefield 6 is certainly ambitious, but we’ll only know if EA achieves its targets at the end of this fiscal year.
