$211.9 Million In Sales For Atlus Games!

Story Highlight
  • In 2024, Atlus Games led SEGA’s revenue, surpassing Sonic and Like a Dragon, accounting for 28.2% of total sales.
  • Their total sales account for $211.9 million.
  • Atlus’ success is highlighted by the impressive sales of Persona 3 Reloaded and Metaphor: ReFantazio.

Since the Japanese company stopped manufacturing consoles, SEGA has been quite successful in publishing. With major IPs like Sonic the Hedgehog, Like a Dragon, and more under its belt, SEGA is one of the most notable publishers of the 21st century.

2024 was one of the best years for SEGA as a publisher, and their restructuring is finally paying off. SEGA recently published its financial report for 2024, revealing that Atlus Games drove the most revenue by having the most sales.

Why it matters: Even with heavyweight IPs like Sonic, Like a Dragon, and Football Manager under SEGA’s belt, Atlus stands out as the top performer, proving its titles can compete with the best franchises in the industry.

Atlus Games’ 28.2% sales equate to a whopping $211.9 million. Their 2024 releases did well. Persona 3 Reloaded sold 1 million copies within a week of its launch. Overall, the franchise has sold 3.4 million copies since April 2024.

Moreover, Metaphor: ReFantazi, SEGA’s latest release, also performed well. The title sold 1 million copies on its release date, becoming the fastest-selling Atlus game ever. The title also secured multiple awards at the TGA 2024 and BAFTA Games Awards 2025.

Moreover, Persona 5 Royal continues to sell well despite being released in 2019.

Atlus Games plans to release RAIDOU Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army on 19th June. Persona fans can most likely expect an update on Persona 6. Persona 1 and 2 remakes are also reportedly under development, but their release remains to be seen.
