Moreover, PlatinumGames seems to be working on multiple projects at the moment, and we have spotted a job listing for a Game Designer, which states that an online action game is in the works at the studio.

For the unaware, PlatinumGames previously tried its hand at live-service gameplay with Babylon’s Fall. Although this title ultimately proved to be a major failure, the team confirmed that it would not abandon the genre altogether.
Therefore, it appears that the new project is part of PlatinumGames’ ongoing focus on live-service gaming. The same job listing also mentions “open-field games,” implying that the team is looking to incorporate open-world elements into the title.
