If the plethora of rumors are to be believed, CES 2025 is shaping up to be a highly eventful time for both AMD and Nvidia. New scoops from a reliable insider suggest that AMD is ready to respond to Nvidia’s alleged AI-infused DLSS 4 with its own upscaler.
AMD is set to launch FSR 4.0 in late January, which is also expected to be ‘fully AI-based.’ That’s not all; the company is also allegedly preparing to launch its Radeon RX 9070 XT GPU and Ryzen 9000X3D CPU.
Why it matters: AMD fans are expected to be eating well at next year’s CES 2025 show, with the company launching FSR 4.0, alongside the Radeon RX 9070 XT and Ryzen 9000X3D.
Tech insider Hoang Anh Phu claimed the following prospects through a cryptic tweet, which the excited community swiftly deciphered. He claims that all these products will launch together in January, aligning with several previous rumors.
The Radeon RX 9070 XT is AMD’s next-gen RDNA 4-based GPU. Additionally, FSR 4.0 is expected to be a massive upgrade that utilizes the latest AI features. Launching the upscaler with a new GPU could also work in AMD’s favor.
Nvidia is going all out with AI in its upcoming RTX 50 series. The conglomerate will reveal new technologies like Enhanced Ray Tracing, Advanced DLSS, and Neural Rendering to challenge AMD.
AMD has not confirmed these claims yet, so it is best to take the CES 2025 rumor mill with a huge grain of salt.
