The publisher believes that preserving Metal Gear for future generations is its mission since the franchise is quite old. Toward this goal, it intends to keep the remake faithful to the original.

Yesterday, Konami’s official YouTube channel posted a Production Hotline video discussing the future and confirming that it is open to developing more remakes if fans demand.
However, Noriaki Okamura, who has been a part of Konami for many years, states that it is necessary to release a modern-style Metal Gear for modern fans. He is currently a major part of Konami’s plans.
Konami’s mission to modernize the series will not sacrifice its identity. Noriaki Okamura confirms that Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake will remain a faithful adaptation of the original.
The team will change aspects like visuals and gameplay to bring it on par with other modern releases. All of this will be done while preserving the core elements that many fell in love with several decades ago.
