PC fans have always wanted Ghost of Tsushima and Bloodborne from PlayStation’s library. While a port for the latter seems impossible, the former is all but confirmed. Recent rumors have pointed to the port arriving this year, with a reveal happening this week.
The announcement was further narrowed down to 6 March by another insider. While the port is yet to be confirmed, the insider states Ghost of Tsushima 2 will also be revealed at this year’s PlayStation Showcase.
Why it matters: Apart from God of War and Horizon, this franchise is PlayStation’s biggest original series from the last generation, making it an important part of the future gaming lineup.

This rumor comes from the same user who accurately leaked PlayStation’s recent blog post, which confirmed the Horizon Forbidden West system requirement.
Therefore, the user appears to have begun developing a credible reputation. He states that the PlayStation Showcase would be held in May or June 2024, teasing that Ghost of Tsushima 2 will be shown off in a few months.
It is also important to note that job listings and past evidence already made a 2024 reveal likely. However, the game will not be available on the market before 2025 since PlayStation has confirmed no big franchises will receive new entries this year.
Ghost of Tsushima’s PC port could be strategically aligned with the sequel’s announcement. The former will undoubtedly generate more excitement for the sequel, leading to more buzz as the PlayStation Showcase approaches.
We also believe this rumor will age well since Sucker Punch Productions has been hard at work on the project for around four years.
Last year’s PlayStation Showcase was underwhelming, with Sony failing to highlight any major first-party titles except Spider-Man 2. However, Ghost of Tsushima 2 alone has the potential to elevate this year’s showcase.
Going by history, May and June are safe bets for the showcase. PlayStation could also tease its long-awaited PS5 Pro at the same event, which will launch in late 2024, allowing Sucker Punch Productions to take full advantage of the hardware for Ghost of Tsushima 2.
