Much to everyone’s disappointment, Rockstar has remained silent. However, fans have spotted a new teaser on the Rockstar Newswire, and they believe the developer is trolling with a GTA 6 teaser.
Why it matters: GTA 5 was a monumental achievement, and it continues to be popular to this day. The game’s success has marked the longest gap between two GTA games, and this has also led to greater expectations from fans.
As seen above, the developer is teasing a new year with new hopes and promises. The image in the Newswire further states:
“This year will be the year everything finally comes together. Well, 2023 could be that year.”
This could be a subtle hint that Rockstar will finally pull the curtains on GTA 6 in 2023.
Previously, many signs have pointed to a reveal in 2023, with known insiders predicting a similar scenario. Furthermore, Microsoft has also claimed that GTA 6 is anticipated to release in 2024, and a reveal later this year would make a lot of sense in this case.
