Elden Ring Has Sold 20 Million Copies Wordlwide

New Milestone Achieved!

Elden Ring is undoubtedly the best game of 2022, as first it won the Ultimate Game of The Year Award at Golden Joystick and then the well-deserving Game of The Year Award 2022

The game’s lore, graphics, and music are top-notch, so it’s not surprising how successful the game is. Last year in December, Elden Ring was the best-selling game on Steam. Now, it has been revealed that it has sold over 20 units worldwide.

The anniversary of Elden Ring is almost here, and it is pretty impressive that it has achieved this massive milestone in less than a year. The game sold reached 17.5 million copies worldwide by September 2022; it seems like the fandom is still alive and awaits new content.

Physical shipments and digital sales across all platforms are also included in the 20 million figure. FromSoftware has released some great games in the past, but Elden Ring is undoubtedly their most significant success as it is the game that increased its popularity to what it is now.

Not only did it bring fame to FromSoftware, but it also managed to sell more copies than any Souls game before. It is also worth noting that Elden Ring won 5X more Game of The Year Awards than God of War Ragnarok, which clearly explains how much people loved playing it.

While the community of Elden Ring is growing, players are requesting a single-player DLC for the game, which would perhaps bring the game’s hype to the next level. For now, there has been no information regarding the DLC from FromSoftware; as they released the PVP Colosseum update, there is hope for the DLC too.

Elden Ring is not available on PS Plus and Xbox Game Pass. Still, it managed to be this much success. Aside from that, what do you think of the being sold over 20 million copies?
