Xbox has had a massive presence this year due to its successful showcase and biggest booth at Gamescom. Recently, it was rumored that the gaming giant is planning a Partner Preview for this week, and it seems to be true, as the event has officially been announced. 

However, a leaker has now revealed that PS5 news is going to have a big presence. Not only that, but he also revealed that the partner preview will feature a ‘very big’ reveal.

Why it matters: After great showcases, fans are expecting the giant to come up with some exciting announcements. Over a dozen trailers will be revealed in a 25-minute time period, so it could be pretty exciting.

One of the most reliable leakers, eXtas1s, recently revealed on Twitter that a ‘very big’ reveal is going to be featured at the event. He thinks it could be an announcement of either Black Myth: Wukong or Final Fantasy 16 Xbox Port. Resident Evil 9 could also be announced during the partner preview. 

A new Xbox Partner Preview is CONFIRMED, where Alan Wake 2, Wuchang, Like A Dragon and some other things will be seen, among them it is said of a… “VERY BIG.”

He then reveals that the event will be packed with content, so everyone should find something to their liking. Previously, the partner preview featured the first in-engine look of the Metal Gear Solid 3 remake, so fans are hoping to see something of that calibre again.

Black Myth: Wukong has yet to be released on Xbox, so its announcement wouldn’t be surprising. Final Fanatsy 16 has also been confirmed for the console, so it could be announced, too. Lastly, a Resident Evil 9 reveal doesn’t sound impossible, as its Metacritic page just went live recently.

Alan Wake 2’s Lakehouse Expansion, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, and Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza is Hawai are already confirmed to appear during the Xbox Partner Preview. There will be multiple world premieres, so mark 17 October on your calendars.
