Marvel’s Wolverine Leak Confirms Multiple Playable Characters

Expert Verified By

Coming Fall 2026!

Story Highlights
  • Early parts of Marvel’s Wolverine have been leaked online.
  • The leaks confirmed that the game will have two playable characters.
  • Detailed fight scenes, investigations, and traversal have also been leaked.

According to leaks, Insomniac Games is working on Marvel’s Wolverine and various other titles planned till 2030. However, the former has suffered from the most leaks.

Following one of the biggest leaks in the industry, 1TB of data has surfaced online. In addition to screenshots, the leak reveals numerous development videos of Marvel’s Wolverine, including gameplay and cutscenes.

Why it matters: This superhero adaptation is the next big exclusive for PlayStation. There is a lot of excitement for the project, with millions looking forward to it after Insomniac Games’ excellent Spider-Man releases.

Wolverine

Before the massive leaks today, the ransomware group had already leaked a few screenshots from the game to threaten Sony, claiming that they would leak everything if their demands were not met.

Following the new leaks, the whole cast of the game is now known. Liam McIntyre, who is best known for the Spartacus: Vengeance series, will play the character of Wolverine in the game.

The more surprising part is that the leaked cast shows another major character in the game. Jean Grey is the second protagonist in the game, with leaked footage showing her being playable.

Therefore, like Spider-Man 2, Insomniac Games is returning with more than one playable character.

Other leaked videos have revealed early combat scenes from the game, cutscenes, and the exploration. Wolverine can use his claws to climb walls, utilizing his supernatural abilities to efficiently traverse complex environments.

Combat appears to be brutal, and Insomniac Games has also included a mechanic to implement his strong sense of smell into the game, leading to investigations through this ability.

Though it isn’t hard to find leaks of Marvel’s Wolverine, we suggest staying away from the more in-depth documents. A summary of the complete story is available online, so it would be best to avoid looking at everything for a fresh experience at launch.

Marvel’s Wolverine is coming in Fall 2026. While we know more about this game than before, we feel sorry for the developers impacted by the situation. The leak extends beyond just a single game or two, with nearly everything from the studio now out to the public.
