Ubisoft Plus Is Expected To Arrive This Month On Xbox Platforms

Ubisoft Plus On Xbox Soon?

In January 2022, Ubisoft announced that it would release its subscription service, Ubisoft Plus, on PlayStation and Xbox consoles.

Even though in May-June 2022, Ubisoft Plus Classics was added to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium tiers. Still, there is no date for it coming to Xbox, and there was no follow-up news after the initial announcement.

Today, reliable source MauroNL claims that Ubisoft Plus might be available for Xbox consoles soon. According to him, the Microsoft store backend just got updated, and a bunch of Ubisoft games, including Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Far Cry 6, Tom Clancy’s Division 2, and Watch Dogs: Legion, got an unknown ‘Free’ tag and a countdown to 16-17 January.

It should not come as a surprise if, in a few days, Xbox users can buy Ubisoft Plus on their consoles, as it was already confirmed that it is coming to Xbox sooner or later. This addition will suit players who want to play well-known Ubisoft titles.

Instead of buying the game for $60-$70, users can buy Ubisoft Plus at a much lower price and access the complete library of Ubisoft games and all the beloved franchises, including Assassin’s Creed, Far Cry, Tom Clancy’s games, and many more.

However, Ubisoft Plus will most likely not be bundled with Xbox Game Pass or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate like EA Play, and to access the Ubisoft Plus library, you will have to pay $14.99/ month, just like on PC.

As with every rumor or leak, it is advised to take this news with a grain of salt until official confirmation from Microsoft or Xbox.

Nevertheless, it will be interesting to see what Microsoft has in store for Xbox fans in the coming days as an Xbox showcase is heavily rumored to be announced this week that will reveal in-depth details of games like Redfall, Forza Motorsport, and Minecraft Legends.

So, what are your thoughts about Ubisoft Plus being added to Xbox consoles? Are you looking forward to this? Let us know in the comment section below.
