TT eSports sent us their Challenger EDGE Pro, a keyboard with plunger switches designed to give users the tactile feel of mechanical switches. It boasts true 16.8M RGB lighting per key and a sleek floating key design with a stunning LED area under the aluminum surface. Beyond the aesthetics, it offers features like macro recording, a full key locking mechanism, and 19-key over. Let’s dive into what this keyboard brings to the gaming experience.

Tt eSPORTS introduces the Challenger Series as the go-to gaming keyboard for beginners. The Professional Edition RGB boasts a floating keycap design, a detachable handrest, and a 16.8 million color RGB backlight with thirteen backlight modes, allowing players to customize their gaming atmosphere. Additionally, it includes built-in backlight modes for various game genres like FPS, MMO, MOBA, RTS, and more, making it a versatile choice for different types of gamers.

The Challenger EDGE Professional RGB features a unique aluminum overlay design and a high-quality piston-structured switch for optimal gaming performance. The floating design enhances aesthetics and prevents dust accumulation, simplifying the cleaning process. Despite its compact profile, the keyboard includes multimedia keys, both dedicated and non-dedicated. The keycaps are slim and made of ABS double-shot material.

Moving to the top side of the keyboard, there are multimedia keys, including a mute key and a volume rocker. LED indicators display the status of the numpad, caps lock, and scroll lock. The Tt eSPORTS brand logo is prominently displayed above the arrow keys. The arrow and additional keys above them provide dual functions when combined with the Fn key. The main keyboard section follows a standard layout with function keys, backspace, and enter keys, providing a familiar experience for users.

The keyboard utilizes Plunger Switches from Thermaltake, offering a mechanical keyboard feel without the high cost. With a 2.4mm trigger keyway and 50g pressing force, users can experience the tactile feedback of mechanical switches. The aluminum top plate, transparent window, and suspended key design contribute to stunning visual effects, creating an appealing aesthetic within its price range.

The keyboard boasts 19-key anti-ghosting functionality, covering common gameplay keys and ensuring precise input. To enhance user experience, the keyboard includes surface raisers on the top side, providing a comfortable typing and gaming angle over extended periods. Rubber paddings on the bottom side prevent slipping and surface scratches. With its three rubber paddings, the detachable wrist pad adds to the overall stability and comfort, ensuring a pleasant gaming or typing experience.

A detachable wrist pad with a solid structure enhances user comfort and can be easily attached or removed. The keyboard’s backside features essential details, including the model and power requirements. The keyboard takes a maximum of 5V DC and 200 mA, using a USB connector for power. Surface raisers on the top provide an ergonomic typing angle, while rubber paddings on the bottom prevent scratches.

Let’s check out the awesome feature of this keyboard – per-key backlighting with 16.8 million colors and 13 color effects. You can control the lighting in two ways: use key combinations like Fn + F9-F12, PrtSc, ScrLK, Pause, Ins, Home, PgUp, Del, End, PgDn, or use the easy software provided by Tt eSPORTS.

The user can turn off the LED lights altogether, though I don’t see why he would deprive himself or herself of such stunning lighting implementation. This is not it. The esports challenger edge pro review has also defined pre-configured color combinations for the particular gaming style. These are:-

A drop-down box at the bottom left offers Normal Mode and Gaming Mode options, with Gaming Mode allowing macro recording. The Lighting checkbox on the top left has pre-defined color effects. Customize Zone provides gaming color effects. To record a Macro, select Gaming Mode, click Key Assignment, choose a key, and assign actions.
