Since its May 2015 release, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, one of CD Projekt RED’s most popular role-playing games, has maintained a strong following among players thanks to its captivating gameplay and the fact that the developers put their heart into it, and did not let the game die.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is still entertaining and exciting in its original form, but fans wanted to relive the game with modern-day graphics since it had been 7 years since its release. Their prayers were soon answered as CD Projekt RED revealed a next-Gen update for The Witcher 3, and after a few delays, the game’s official release date was set for December 14, 2022.

The Witcher’s official YouTube channel recently posted a trailer for the next-generation game version. While it looks fantastic, you can only fully appreciate how amazing the game looks when you compare it to the original game in a side-by-side comparison.

The differences between the next-Gen upgrade and the original, thanks to the side-by-side comparison is real and it showcases how effectively the developers have done their work. We hope they receive all the recognition they deserve for this genuinely gorgeous work of art.

It appears that CD Projekt RED will not stop anytime soon, as numerous games are planned for the second saga, a brand-new trilogy was formally confirmed to be in development, and the Witcher 1 Remake is also reportedly in development based on Unreal Engine 5.
