Starfield Is Inspired By Every Sci-fi Movie/TV Show In Some Way

From Space: 1999 to Cowboy Bebop to Silent Running!

One of the most anticipated titles that have been announced is Starfield. Fans have been anxiously awaiting its release since it was first announced, and the hype surrounding it has been insane.

The game is being developed by Bethesda Game Studios and is set to launch on September 6, 2023, following multiple delays, and will be available on the Xbox Series X|S and PC.

Emil Pagliarulo, the design director for Starfield, recently claimed on Twitter that the game’s creators had drawn inspiration from every sci-fi film/TV Show in some way. He provided some examples, including Space 1999, Event Horizon, Star Wars, and Star Trek.

Emil Pagliarulo particularly noted Prospect, a space-set sci-fi film he claimed had a Starfield vibe. Pagliarulo did not provide further details as he said he would be moving into the spoiler territory.

He claimed you could act as a space cop and infiltrate the Crimson Fleet at Starfield, where you could report back to your superiors. He, therefore, recommended possibly seeing the 1997 crime film Donnie Brasco.

Starfield is already performing well before its official debut, and it is clear that the fans are eagerly anticipating it because it is currently the most wish-listed game on Steam. The playtesters have also been reportedly impressed with its scope and ambition.

Additionally, it is said that the game will support ray tracing and will have more than 1000 planets. To add to the excitement, a Starfield special-edition Xbox Series X|S controller has also been leaked.

We are excited and looking forward to Starfield. This is the limited information we have for now, but we will be on the lookout for more news regarding Starfield in the future.
