Already Reached First Milestone!

In a year stacked with diverse and high-quality gaming releases, Remnant 2 from Gunfire Games has managed to outpace much of its competition. Despite a controversial PC port, the game found a huge audience on the platform.

It has also received positive reviews from critics and managed to reach over 100K concurrent players on Steam. Following an impressive launch, Remnant 2 sold 1 million copies in its first week.

Why it matters: This makes the sequel a significant step up from the first Remnant game and could encourage Gunfire Games to make another game in the franchise.

As reported by IGN, Remnant 2 has achieved its first major milestone. To celebrate the occasion, the Gunfire Games CEO congratulated the developers at the studio and thanked the players who have enjoyed the title so far.

The developer has also released a new video highlighting the various accolades received by Remnant 2. As mentioned earlier, the game has been a critical success, earning a score of 80/100 on Metacritic.

While the PC port has performed below expectations, Gunfire Games has promised fixes for the game. This could help improve performance in the coming months, leading to an even more enjoyable experience.

Following the achievement, Gunfire Games hopes to continue this success with DLC support for the next year. The game is expected to receive three DLC releases, offering new story elements and enemies for players to face off against.
