Stalker 2 Gameplay Incoming After Recent Hacks!

Xbox held its highly anticipated showcase last month, which turned out to be incredibly successful, garnering 92 million views. Following this triumph, Xbox is preparing for another showcase next month, going all out at Gamescom.

The long-awaited sequel to the 13-year-old Stalker has faced quite a few bumps in its development. According to Insider Gaming, Stalker 2 will make an appearance at the showcase next month.

Furthermore, it will be available for attendees to play at the booth.

Why it matters: Fans of Stalker 2 were disappointed as the game was not shown at the previous Xbox Games Showcase. However, the developers aim to make up for its previous absence.

Aside from Stalker, the upcoming Forza Motorsport will be available to play in person.

The excitement for both games is at an all-time high. Stalker 2 has looked better with each new screenshot, and the latest build is likely to show the best version of the game so far.

Stalker 2 has also faced numerous difficulties in its development. Earlier this year, around 200GB of dev build data was leaked. Furthermore, the studio has been the subject of blackmailing and threats in the past.

There was speculation that the game might be delayed due to these threats. However, the fact that the game will be playable at Gamescom could hint that it is almost ready for release.

Aside from Stalker 2, Xbox could reveal other titles at Gamescom.

While games like Indiana Jones and Perfect Dark have not been featured for several years, they could show up at the event. Previously, Matt Booty mentioned Gamescom among the events that could serve as candidates for new Xbox game reveals.
